Frontline Appliances is a small veteran & woman-owned business located in Tucson, AZ. We sell refurbished and new home appliances and fix them too. We've served thousands of clients (no seriously, THOUSANDS) in our community and aim to provide the best service that money can buy. This may also be a little biased, but we’re pretty sure we are the coolest place to work for…EVER! Anyways, enough about us, let's talk about you.

 

The Role: Appliance Installer

As an Installer, you will be playing a crucial role in our delivery team by handling all aspects of appliances: delivering, installing, testing, inspecting, and organizing. Your mornings will typically consist of reviewing your route and loading your units for the day's deliveries. During deliveries your tasks will include preparing homes and businesses for appliance installations, setting up new appliances, ensuring they work perfectly, answering customer questions, and demonstrating how the appliances work. When you return from your route, you will unload all units, perform maintenance tasks, and conduct appliance testing, and organize our showrooms. You will also be in charge of maintaining tools, delivery vehicles, and our warehouse to ensure everything runs smoothly. This job offers a sense of fulfillment as you directly impact our daily operations and customer satisfaction. If you enjoy being active, we guarantee you will definitely get your steps in. Finally, who doesn't like tools? We love tools because they're just badass! You will use all sorts of them and get really familiar and confident in using them, so if you have no experience, no worries, we will show you the way.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Have a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 

  • Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and attention to detail. 

  • Although you may be working alone the majority of the time, you must be comfortable working, communicating, and collaborating with others.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • A driver's license and a clean driving record.

  • Must be able to pass a background check.

One last note, you don’t need to know squat about appliances; we will teach you everything you need.

Our compensation strategy includes a base pay of $16 per hour plus performance bonuses, allowing team members to earn well over $20 per hour. This position is located at 1420 S Alvernon Way and is an in-field role. This is a full-time opportunity and operates Monday through Friday, with the working hours set from 8 AM to 5 PM. Next Steps

  1. Video Submission: After submitting your application, you will receive an email immediately. Please respond with a 30-60 second video telling us why you think you’re perfect for this job and how you will rock this position.

  2. Online Assessment: If you’ve completed all the previous steps, you will receive a link to take a timed 45-minute online assessment.

  3. Application Status Update: Within 7 days of submitting your application and video, you will receive an email updating you on the status of your application.

  4. Prescreening: All applications go through a prescreening process. If you pass this stage, you will receive a phone call from our recruiter to schedule an interview.

  5. Interview & Ride-Along: If your application makes it through prescreening, we will schedule an interview and job shadow day. We’ll confirm an ideal day for you to come in for a morning interview followed by a ride-along with one of our experienced technicians or installers.

After the Interview

If the interview goes well and everything looks good, we’ll move forward with the next steps, which may include:

  1. Driving Test & Hands-On Assessment (if applicable): Depending on the nature of the role, you may be invited to our shop to complete a hands-on assessment and driving test to evaluate your practical skills and driving abilities.

  2. Background, Reference, and Drug Screening: We’ll conduct reference checks, background checks, and a drug screening to ensure everything is in order.

  3. Final Steps: Once all steps are completed and everything checks out, we’ll present you with a job offer and welcome you to the Frontline team!

 

After submitting your application and video, you can expect to receive an email no more than 7 days of submission to update you on the status of your application. All applications go through a prescreening and prospective candidates will receive a phone call from our recruiter to schedule an interview. Our interviews are pretty casual and are a great way to get to know each other. Reference and background checks are the last step before your first day of work.
